Dr. Jim Muse is a lifelong Oklahoman and grew up in South Oklahoma City. He attended the University of Oklahoma for his pre-chiropractic education and received his Chiropractic training at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Mo. Dr. Muse graduated in 1971 with a B.S. in Human Anatomy and doctorate degree in Chiropractic medicine. Shortly after graduation Dr. Muse started his first chiropractic clinic in South Oklahoma City, Chiropractic Arts Center. Dr. Muse is a court appointed Independent Medical Examiner for the Oklahoma Workers Compensation System, a medical director for CompChoice, a consultant for the Oklahoma HealthChoice Insurance Fund and is Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the Oklahoma Board of Examiners. He has also held multiple offices in other Oklahoma Chiropractic Associations. Dr. Muse is a member of the Oklahoma Chiropractic Independent Association and the American Chiropractic Association. He is certified in Acupuncture by Texas Chiropractic College and has practiced acupuncture since 1976. Dr. Muse has been happily married for over 40 years. He and his wife Janet have three children, all of which are doctors of Chiropractic with two of them having married Chiropractors.
